Our story and heart
From a teenage dream of artisanal cheese to a thriving family farm.
But we didn't get our big start easy!
At 13 I dreamt of making goat cheese, a dream that kept me going through some of the darkest times in my life. At 17 I was lucky enough to land a job at a local goat dairy, Appleton Creamery (now retired), and fell in love with not only the cheese, but the goats.
As much as I wished to start up my own herd as quickly as possible, my life took many different directions first. Eventually, I met my fiance, who cared about making my dreams come true. He worked hard while I raised our first daughter in a run down trailer. Eventually we had an opportunity to rent a small house and 2 acres from my grandfather! Unfortunately, he passed not long after and we were left the small house and 2 acre plot.
This small house has helped us borrow money to build a new house for our now family of five! Although building is no cheap task nowadays and despite penny pinching and using free junk and scrap lumber, we were left with nothing to put up the barn we had dreamt of. But we have not given up hope!

We are constantly striving for the highest quality clean milk, and providing compassionate, attentive care to our herd is central to that mission. When our goats are healthy, peaceful, and thriving, our farm runs smoothly and our community receives the very best wholesome local products.
